DevOps Architect Level 1

Key roles and responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the primary technical resource embedded on Blue Sentry customer teams
  • Design and implement continuous integration and continuous deployment frameworks from code to deploy
  • Design and implement automated provisioning and configuration frameworks in support of infrastructure-as-code
  • Design, implement, configure and manage system monitoring solutions that alert teams to problems before customers are impacted
  • Work closely with customers and other team members to understand complex requirements and translate them into automated solutions
  • Provide support to ensure mission critical applications and components are being monitored and meet security, reporting and retention requirements as well as disaster recovery requirements of Blue Sentry customers
  • Mentor junior team members

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related area
  • Deep real experience with AWS platform and services such as EC2, S3, Route 53, DynamoDB, Lambda, ECS, SQS, SNS, etc.
  • AWS Certifications
    • Solution Architect – Associate
    • Developer – Associate
    • SysOps Administrator – Associate
  • Application, systems and DB monitoring experience
  • Experience across several areas of IT and network infrastructure (load balancers, subnets, gateways, NAT, bastion servers, SSL certs, DNS, etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience with CI/CD and IT automation methodologies and tools (e.g. Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Artifactory, Selenium, Clover)

DevOps Architect Level 2

Key roles and responsibilities include:

  • Lead, mentor and coach a small team of DevOps professionals
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact between Blue Sentry and our customers
  • Evaluate Blue Sentry customers’ maturity in public cloud (AWS) adoption and recommend strategies for how customers can transform their business by maturing cloud adoption
  • Design and implement continuous integration and continuous deployment frameworks from code to deploy
  • Design and implement automated provisioning and configuration frameworks in support of infrastructure-as-code
  • Design, implement, configure and manage system monitoring solutions that alert teams to problems before customers are impacted
  • Work closely with customers and other team members to understand complex requirements and translate them into automated solutions

Qualifications:

  • Experience in scripting and development languages such as: C#, JavaScript, Java, Python, Ruby, PowerShell and bash

SysOpsEngineer Level 2

Technical Account Manager

As an increasing number of large enterprises move critical systems and develop new applications to the cloud, we are in need of high-powered technical talent to advise our customers on this journey. You will work one on one with our top tier customers throughout the entire application lifecycle advising them during the planning phase of new projects to supporting them when they have systems operating in production.

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) functions as part of the Blue Sentry engineering team to ensure key enterprise customer success in building applications and services on the AWS platform. The TAM provides assistance to the customer as an expert on the full line of AWS services and the customer’s architecture in support of strategy questions, project planning and launch and ongoing operational issues. TAM‘s are engaged at the account level in providing recommendations and proactive advice through all phases of the implementation life cycle.

In order to be successful in this role, you must possess customer facing skills that allow you to represent Blue Sentry well within a customer’s environment and drive discussions with senior personnel regarding incidents, trade-offs, best practices, and risk management. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges as you help our customers take advantage of the efficiencies, cost savings and quick innovation available only in the cloud. In this role, you will also act as the voice of the customer within Blue Sentry to escalate problems and to drive prioritization of business needs for our customers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5/7+ years design/implementation/consulting experience of distributed applications
  • Previous customer facing experience as a technical lead
  • Strong customer focus and bias for action
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Computer Science or Math background highly desired; working knowledge of software development practices and technologies highly desired

Help Desk Analyst 1

Blue Sentry is seeking an experienced, motivated and energetic help desk analyst to join our team.  If you have a passion for troubleshooting and solving customer problems, we want to speak with you.  There are two positions to be filled.  One is for help desk coverage from 7AM – 3PM ET and the second is to cover the 3PM – 11PM ET shift.

Key Roles and Responsibilities Include:

  • Serve as the primary engineer on help desk coverage during your assigned shift
  • Manage and resolve help desk tickets
  • Provide client response and solutions within documented service level agreements
  • Monitor alarms and proactively address issues before they become a problem
  • Troubleshoot and resolve tickets and alarms
  • Update client runbooks and standard operating procedures
  • Add to the Blue Sentry knowledge base of incident resolutions and known errors
  • Identify trends and patterns in incidents
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication to clients

Qualifications

  • Experience troubleshooting systems including, but not limited to: Windows, Linux, web applications, databases and AWS infrastructure/services
  • Windows server administration experience
  • Linux server administration experience
  • VPN configuration and user management
  • Experience using a ticketing system such as Zendesk

SALES/MARKETING


Inside Sales Representative

Key roles and responsibilities include:

  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Amazon Web Services and Blue Sentry services and associated technologies
  • Collaborate with marketing team to develop and refine demand generation programs and activities, including live events, email marketing and targeted call campaigns
  • Develop and execute targeted lead generation call campaigns to qualify prospects
  • Collaborate with the Blue Sentry sales team on lead strategy and optimization
  • Consistently exceed monthly quota for qualified leads

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3 years of technology related sales or relevant work experience in an inside sales and lead generation role
  • 1 year of experience driving demand and lead generation in the technology industry
  • 1 year of experience using sales automation tools such as Salesforce.com
  • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, technology, or relevant field of study preferred
  • Limited travel required
